October 3rd, 2008 at 7:26 pm“Vote for Kodos” is a reference to the best Halloween episode of The Simpsons, where Bill Clinton and Bob Dole are taken over by aliens- Kang and Kodos- during the 1996 election.

Second of all Andrew, I have seen that episode and I find it a rather obscure reference. Even though it is a Simpson’s reference.
