S2E2- The Meeting

Episode two of the second season of the award losing show “Bob & Andrew” is online and ready for your eyes and brain to experience! This week, the boys have a little pow-wow after a chance meeting on the streets of Laredo, err, Vancouver. Will they become friends again? Or will blood spill like the mighty Mississippi river?

Co-starring the lovely and talented April Green. Special guest appearances by producers Keith Opatovsky and Patsy Tomkins, with Adrian Colbert and Kristy Benckhuysen. This episode was directed by handsome man Darren Borrowman.

And as a bonus,  check out a special behind the scenes video about two very special scenes in the new episode after the jump. It’s all kinds of erotic. Enjoy!

S2 Behind the Scenes – Sharing the Lens

We’re just one week away from the launch of season 2 of Bob & Andrew. You can feel the excitement in the air, people are literally partying in the streets here in Vancouver. We’ve never seen anything like it. In a strange aside – a lot of Bob & Andrew fans also seem to be big hockey fans.

In our last behind the scenes look at season 2, we talk to Keith Opatovsky and Darren Borrowman about switching off as director from episode to episode. Look forward to episodes 3 and 4 of season 2, directed by Keith.

S2 Behind the Scenes – Location, Location, Location

While shooting the majority of season 1 in a 500 square foot apartment was a lot of fun. We decided to branch out for season 2. Among the branches we branched to were English Bay, Republic Night Club, Yaggers Downtown as well as all of our friend’s apartments. In fact, in order to be allowed to guest star in our show, we contractually obligated everyone to allow us access to their house as a location.

Thanks as always to Redbud Films for producing these behind the scenes docs.

The Bob and Andrew Show: Update

Andrew and I thought we’d try something new and do some Vlogs instead of podcasts for a while. Here is our first. It’s kinda scrambled as we didn’t so much have a plan about how we were going to do this, we neglected to plan our “exit strategy,” if you will. We promise better ones later.

“Don’t Call Me Zombie” Screening Friday, February 13th in Vancouver. Email Bob or Andrew for details if you want to attend. View the Zombie page here: http://www.bobandandrew.com/short-fil…

bobandandrew.com live at the Wise Hall on March 4th. Tickets $20, all proceeds go to charity. No, we will not actually be working for beer.

Also, that is the wrong Youtube URL at the end of the video. It’s supposed to be youtube.com/BobandAndrewShow. No underscores.

ROCK!

Podcast follow-ups: An Andrew Menzies Lesson

Podcasting can be a cruel bitch.

While I embrace the emotional roller-coaster of highs and lows of pithy arguments about pop art and life, often times topics are left underdeveloped, and some things call for an elaboration and explanation that just cannot be given during a fifteen minute show.

I am here on the Internet today to offer a few words of follow-up to previous Bob and Andrew Show episodes.  I feel it is my duty as a respected member of the web community to provide you with all of the information.

Andrew Menzies is CNN pre-9/11, not post 9/11.

So I wish to offer you addendums, reactions, and post-scriptures of Bob and Andrew Shows past. For you, the viewer, deserves to know.

The Bob and Andrew Show: Andrew’s Mayoral Campaign

In this episode, Bob and Andrew discuss their distaste for hot weather. Since it’s been hot out lately, they have some recent examples to call on. In addition to this Andrew lays out his plans to run for mayor of the City of Vancouver and the special laws he would implement as such. The guys coin the term Party Quotient and there’s an all new segment called ‘The Rant’ where Bob and Andrew ‘go off’ about ‘ridiculous’ things. In this episode they rant about Guitar Hero and the crazy people who love it.
